*chuckle* Sure a World Series should be, um, global.

Aye, I guess so! It's just that calling an internal competition the
"World Series" is one of my pet peeves, because it's kinda
saying "we are everything, no one outside counts". IMHO
anyway.
Anyway, I went to my sister-in-laws at the weekend, and had
to eat 4-cheese pizza, spaghetti bolognese, fried chicken,
garlic butter bread, salami and other such wholesome nibbles.
So, a gain for me this week I expect. ;) I'm such a wuss.

Friday,
If you are going to say "had to" at least put it in parentheses so you
know you didn't really HAVE to but you CHOSE to. Choosing is ok. It's
not right or wrong. It's a choice. We all make choices. You chose to
eat that stuff. Besides all of it is 'allowed' you just have to count
points.
Ya know one day I ate what I wanted and I counted points... I stopped
when I got to 46... it was an eye opener let me tell you.
Now no matter what I write it down and count it, how else can the journal
help me. And it is for me right. I don't share it with anyone.
hugs and love,
Nessa

*grin*
OK, I didn't have to. But it was that or lettuce. And I ain't no
Flopsy Bunny. I did keep an eye on the portion sizes, and only went
back for one second helping. Well, that was OK. I justified it with
the thought that I had to run an online gaming event for 5 hours in
the evening, and I probably wouldn't find time to eat. As it turned
out, I was correct.
The thing that annoyed me, however, was having to guess at the
calorific and saturated fat content of the various items. I'm used to
trip-trapping through ASDA, checking nutrition labels. I need to get
a Points calculator as well, cause the average item doesn't already
have WW points on it. I've taken to ... um... someone's average of a
point per 50 kcal then I add an extra one for good measure if the SF
is more than, say, 3g per 100g. Not very scientific, and probably
way off for most things, but it's the best rule I have without my
computer beside me. =)
