Hi everyone, I am back from the beach where I had a wonderful time. The
weather was great the water temperature was 75 and I enjoy every minute of
my R&R. Now I have to get back to working out in the gym and watching my
diet more. I must say that I even managed to lose a few pounds in the
process of eating things that I normally don't when I am home, so that is a
good thing.
I had a lot of time to reflect on my life and progress over the last year
while sitting on the beach. Since I lost my initial weight of about 30
pounds and kept it off for almost 2 years now, I need to lose some more fat.
I feel I have a new perspective, renewed enthusiasm and I am ready to get
serious again. I have never been good at counting calories or points since I
don't intend to live my live by this. But learning to eat a little less and
exercising more has been my way of getting what I want, a better me. So I
must be more diligent about what I put in my mouth and pay more attention to
getting more exercise and lifting heavy weights and oh yes Alan, taking my
fish oil every day. Wish me luck.
Hope everyone is progressing well, there are so many posts it will take me a
while to get through all of them. Good to be back.
