It is taking me a while to adjust to the new laptop with windows 7
please excuse the delay on getting back to asd. I am using an on
screen keyboard to make typing easier. It has predictive text and
other useful futures.

Thanks

Just seeing you post a short note is wonderful. Don't worry about
content or proofreading.

Yay! Angela just got her Netbook back from the shop too. The left click
button wouldn't work on the touchpad. It was a hardware issue. Oddly she
prefers the touchpad even though I bought her a little mouse. *shrugs*
It's her computer and she should have it the way she wants it!

I just got the Win 7 upgrade for my Vista laptop for Christmas. I'll
probably spend the rest of my holidays installing it. Had to upgrade a
bunch of applications (more $$s) so it'll still work in the new system.

Dragon Naturally Speaking is the best dictation software available
(except for VERY expensive research programs, maybe). I set one up for
a friend with Parkinson's who had trouble controlling the mouse as well
as typing.

Hope to hear from you again, Quentin!

I know it is already New Years in Australia, but it is not here. I want
to wish a healthy and happy one.

I hope everything went well during your abbsence. I have been gone for
a few weeks myself.

Happy New Year to the group

It is good to be back amongst friends whatever the difficulties.
I am wary of introducing another complication
