As a relatively new insulin user, I have a couple questions, maybe
someone here can share their experiences?

What are the effects on your test readings after going off insulin after
using it for a few weeks? months? years?

Has anyone had any hypos that they did not anticipate and what was the
usual cause?

For those diabetics who are skinny, what modifications have you made if
any to the usual method of injection?

Why would you think anyone would go off of it? That's generally not how it
happens. My friend did go off of it. He was put on Avandia. What happened
to him? Congestive heart failure.

All the time and usually don't know the cause. Sometimes delayed meal or
too much activity. But the same can also give me high BG. So just never
know.

Not skinny but know of a skinny type 1 who uses the shortest needles
possible. If you're type 1, you'll likely never go off of insulin.
