The holidays are never easy for diabetics, you easily overeat and the
effect is still visible the next day.

24-dec 23:27 6.6 (=119) After Christmas evening
25-dec 13:09 8.8 (=158) one hour after my brunch
25-dec 14:27 7.8 (=140) about an hour later
25-dec 15:45 4.4 (=79) after 60 minutes of walking through the snow

So the remedy is to insert a bit of a hike after your lunch. You don't
need the gym, you just need some boots.

I have always found exercise a good way to blow off bg. Not light exercise,
but moderate to heavy, such as walking up a hill instead of ambling along on
a falt ground, riding a bicycle hard rather than coasting, walking up stairs
instead of taking the lift, etc. You don't need a gym. You can work an
intensive exercise routine into your everyday life.
