Inquiring minds want to know. I've heard some people say it affects
dopamine, others norepinephrine or both and yet others say neither of
those. What gives? And if it doesn't affect either dopamine or
norepinephrine then what is the scope of this drug and its effect on
depression? Thank you. I've just begun taking it after stopping
Effexor and would like some feedback.

PS - my depression is the sort in which serotonin does not help it,
hence trying AD's that don't affect it like Welbutrin.

Hi J.R.

Prescriebe for medscape for free on their homepage and immediately search
for Bupropion and you will see a wealth of information.

With kind regards
Kim.

It inhibits reuptake of norepinephrine and dopamine. Go to the Glaxo-
Wellcome Wellbutrin site for a layperson's demo.
