flag. She was convicted, but the US State Department is providing
support for her appeal. She's guilty as hell, but our government is
nevertheless making the gestures.
When I lived in Mexico, I was NEVER told that if I broke the law (in
something other than a traffic ticket), I wouldn't have at least some
response from the embassy. That's a lie, Liz.
