"When challenged on it, he said birth control manufacturers could simply change the formula to one which wouldn't have the non-stick coating ingredient. (As if drug companies can just, on a whim, change a medicine's active properties without, you know, going through ten year studies and having FDA approval. Or maybe he actually knows that and was pleased at the thought of keeping birth control off the market for a decade.)

"In any case, expect more attacks on birth control. Thomas wants to end the privacy protections, which is Griswold v. Connecticut and your right to birth control. Other Republicans will start attacking birth control as unhealthy and an abortifacient. They've just been waiting until the heat from Roe v. Wade cools down some."
