Well into them, and he's now banning booze at concerts.
A (smoker) friend of mine used to always tell me that "There's no one as
self-righteous in this world as an ex-smoker".
I assume the same applies to ex-drinkers.
(And there is some truth to it - who would know better the dangers of
alcohol [or whatever drug of choice] than someone who'd been through it?)
I think it's just converts in general. The most annoying proselytixer I ever
had to deal with was a Catholic who had been converted only a few months
before.
Oh yeah, I once worked for a bible thumping baptist that was always
pointing his fat finger at every one. he had only been converted for a
year or so. ughh
In my experience, the most annoying proseletyzers are the ones who
convert to their own religion, i.e., cloned-again types.
