Greetings,

Some history for you. WWII & Bay of Pigs. Racism against Jews and nuke
missiles on Otis. One family here on Cape Cod were immigrants escaping
Europe and later became known as business people here on Cape Cod. One man
became a high level civil defense leader during the Bay of Pigs. The man
was in between the civilians and the military. The argument was whether or
not there were nuke missiles on Otis Air Force Base. Recently a R. N.
informed this writer that indeed more babies were born in Falmouth without
actual brains due to the actual nuclear material existed. Doctors were put
in the middle of this argument. Disease and information along with secrets
made for a bad combination for the Hyannis man and his family. During the
seventies, the Hyannis mans daughter became ill and gave birth to a daughter
with cerebral palsy. The mother died of kidney problems in the late
seventies. Doctors later on cared for the daughter and her grandmother.
The grandmother had strokes and died in nursing home in the early 1990's.
Not without falling out of a rollaway bed twice into the middle of a hallway
and on her room floor resulting in double amputations. Never once were
there any guard rails for this frail woman who could not sit up by herself.
Eventually the then former civil defense leader had been diagnosed with face
cancer and he died sitting up. His grand daughter had found a lump in her
breast during the early part of the 1990's. The Cape Cod Radiology offices
across from the Cape Cod Hospital has Dr. Burger whom read those mammograms.
He said no lumps existed while the woman and her husband looked at her
mammograms and someone elses mammograms too. Both mammograms had the same
formations and both had lumps. Later a surgeon here in Hyannis removed the
lump out of the womans breast. It was not a cancerous lump. The practice
was that since a biopsy was to be performed, the lump should be taken out as
well. Thankfully, no lump has returned. However, the original mammogram
from the offices of Dr. Burger disappeared and later resurfaced in the
possession of Cape Cod Hospital. The name tags were slightly askew and
rounded at the edges and the breast was slightly smaller too. The name
however, were the same. The mammogram had been switched. A couple of years
later at the Cape Cod Breast Evaluation a follow up appointment was made and
kept. The next day and effort was made by the spouse to obtain copies for
his wifes records. In person with people he had been around the day before,
he found that the entire appointment, films, records and all had disappeared
from the offices of the Cape Cod Breast Evaluation Center. Years later, her
GYN had retired and Dr. Connolly became the new doctor for the woman.

Her new GYN of over a year had been the same man who was responsible for her
grandmother. There had been some record of illness and problems with the
patient and Dr. Connolly. The woman was willing to see a man who knew her
family history Recently, the same woman had pain in her uterus area. The
GYN, Dr. Connolly of Hyannis along with the Cape Cod Breast Evaluation
Center staff treated the scenario accordingly. A pelvic ultra sound was
made at Cape Cod Breast Evaluation Center. The husband was present for the
wife requested it. The technician verbally pointed out that there was
something in a shape like a banner in the ovary area. Small pea sized
circular outlines could be seen. One was predominantly white, two smaller
ones were gray. All reports were to be read by a Cape Cod area radiologist
who in turn would report to the womans physician. Almost a week later, via
a quick phone answering machine message they were told that stated the woman
was fine. Together, the husband and wife called the office of Dr. Connolly
to confirm the message. Dr. Connollys head nurse and the husband spoke.
The nurse states that she had spoke with the woman earlier in the week
regarding the pelvic ultrasound results. Later, during the conversation Dr.
Connolly spoke with husband and Dr. Connolly stated that he had spoke with
the woman regarding the ultrasound results too. The woman never had spoke
with either the nurse or Dr. Connolly regarding the pelvic ultrasound since
the initial consultation was made. Any medical matter was always spoken of
immediately by this woman to her spouse. The husband had been told that
Only polyps were found. A second opinion was requested by the woman and her
husband made the proper phone calls. Dr. Connolly spoke with the husband
who in turn gave Dr. Connolly a complete family history over the phone.
From how the womans family was part of the community during turbulent times
and how overall society reacted including the treatment of area medical
personnel. Dr. Connollys exact words were "I don't buy it" and his nurse
laughed as well. The husband said "Dr. Connolly you will lose." These two
individuals, the husband and wife, were scared. As children they knew of
each other and the kind of scenario regarding womens health was discussed
then. How life is as today was discussed as children and this one Dr.
Connolly did not "buy it". A second opinion was agreed to by the womans
primary care physician and made off Cape Cod. The woman with cerebral palsy
has relied on her husband to speak for her at times for speech is difficult
at times to understand. Most importantly, the husband and wife needs to be
a part of each persons care. The second opinion report had arrived in the
mail. Yesterday, the woman found out that the cyst exists. No polyps were
found but a 2.4 cm cyst that is 10mm thick and completely hypoechoic with no
fluid moving was found. With no one to officially read the report, calls
were made and finally today, the day before Christmas, Dr. Connolly and the
husband and wife were able to speak. From listening to the answering
service message left by the husband, Dr. Connolly had tried to reach the
woman the night before yet the lines were busy. Dr. Connolly had been
adamant about speaking with the woman and not the husband and would work no
other way. . The husband taken aback and humbled only repeated that he was
speaking for his wife. The husband let the doctor know his efforts were
appreciated and merely the couple only sought to know their next course of
action. The woman was content to listen. Dr. Connolly recommends finding
another GYN.

There were missiles on Otis Air Force Base and there are stories of
missiles falling out of their placement. There was an eventual withdrawal
of those missiles so legends are recorded as known.

Your writing style leaves a *lot* to be desired; basic coherence being
probably the most obvious.
