Perhaps we need to start a Coeliac Day.

As much as we would never get it recognized as a national holiday it could
build awareness of the poison some grains have become to good percentage of
the population.

The day could be observed by the populace observing abstinence from gluten
based grain products.

Better yet celiacs could invite other over for a gluten free meal as a
demonstration.

As a side note: I have relatives that hear something is gluten free and make
a million excuses why they are not hungry or don't like that or have to
leave. I have a S-I-L that makes gluten free baking for me and does the
"shhhhhhhhh" thing (with her finger to her lips) so the other members at the
table don't know some food is "gluten free". The brownies usually get them
and they get told after. Always good for a laugh at them.
