Barley has gluten in it I think.

Yes, alas, all beers have barley malt and it is definately gluten loaded.
Sorry,
Mireille.

Philip, I am a celiac and fortunately for me, not particularly sensitive to
some things. I have a little flour and not get ill, but one bottle of Grolsch
makes me VERY sick. Terrible headaches and GI distress. Other beers don't
bother me like Pilsner Urquell from the Czech Republic, Saporro and some
others. Killian's Irish Red is fine too.
Hope this helps!

I am working on mead (honey wine) that is hopped and thickened with corn
derived malto dextrin. Kegged it today. Needs more hopping, but it is a
fooler.

We can't ingest wheat, oats, barley, or rye. Sorry.

Thanks for the comment. I have not tried to eat any oats since being
diagnosed with D.H. in 1998,so I don,t know how it would effect me ,.I have
seen comments on it in the coeliac magazines from time to time..
