What sort of lymphoma? Is it non-Hodgkin's? Hodgkin's?
In any event, there is a *lot* of information about both, but having an
exact diagnosis is very important -- there are 39 different types of
non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and treatment and prognosis differs markedly
depending on which type he has.
Try to get info from the following sites:
www.nci.nih.gov (nat'l cancer institute's site)
www.acor.org (association of cancer online research)
www.wizard.com/NHL (capitalization is important; an *excellent* site
affiliated with the NHL email listserv)
www.alumni.caltech.edu/~mike/lymphoma.html (an excellent site)
You can also subscribe to the non-Hodgkin's lymphoma listserv, which is
comprised of patients, caregivers and family members dealing with lymphoma.
To subscribe, send a message to nhl-su...@jubjub.wizard.com, with
"subscribe" in the subject line.
Best of luck.

Lymphoma is a collection of a large number of cancer types. Some
are very indolent, some are extremely agressive. All are
treatable to one degree or another. No question, all lymphomas
can kill, but there are long-term survivors of most types after
receiving appropriate treatments. Occasionally a patient who
seemed cured will have a recurrence of lymphoma. Even then,
treatments will frequently provide another remission or long-term
"cure".
