This is my first posting here and it's quite some kind of hopeless posting.
I'm french, 25 years old, i lost my mom while i was 14 from a colon cancer.
two month ago, my father had a stroke (epilepsy crisis) and went to the
hospital where he was diagnosed a brain tumors. Shortly after the
diagnostic, he has had brain surgery for his tumor to be removed. Then he
learned it was a malignant tumor.
He went back home while waiting for his radiotherapy to begin.
there has been a 1 monh interval between hospital and the begining of the
radiotherapy.
Then things became worst. His girlfriend found him to have strange behavior
and decided to hospitalize him. Then I came see him and found he actually
had loss of intellectual acuity. I came to see his radiotherapist and then
the news brokes : a second tumor had grown on the other frontal lobe, the
tumor could not be removed, my father had merely six month to live.
the news hit me deep...i'm really hopeless about this.
does anyone has felt the same way or had similar experiences ?
is there alternate option than radiotherapy & chemo ?
Hearing this gives me hope. What stage was the tumour when they first
diagnosed you?
All of these claims are patently false.
