A not so surprising KIT development

You can take the boy out of the Bruderhof....
After over a decade spent with the group loosely known as KIT,
and more recently an electronic forum called the Hummer, I have
now come full circle, I have been put into the *Hummer* Great
Exclusion. Very interesting that this option even exists, given
our heritage.
It is at once heartrending and freeing! I see some of the
same issues, including but not limited to, coercion, hierarchy,
and manipulation, some of the very things they rail against
regarding the Bruderhof.
Paramount among these issues is really what I call "contested
narratives". Much like the Bruderhof would wish to paint things
onto individuals, Hummer leaderships wishes to paint their heritage
in a less than well rounded picture. Some cannot see their parents
as suffering the same malady ad the "common folk", namely what I term
the cult psychic schism, where the cult personality overshadows the
pre-cult personality, even to the point of abandoning ones children
(physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually).
In a move so surprising I could do nothing but rain fire down
on the forum, the leadership wanted to desecrate the memory of a recently
departed dear friend. I simply couldn't allow it! And because of the words
I used to lodge my protest, I was thrown into the Great Exclusion, banned from
the forum by these aging sandlot buddies. I wasn't surprised, as I had seen
Hummer leadership devalue, diminish, and disparage in the past, specifically
those like me, willing to speak out and challenge them! Shades of the
Bruderhof, nes pas.
The sad thing is I have spent quite a bit of time learning about cult dynamics,
both through professionals, survivor groups, and conferences with a mix of both.
I had tried to get a well known authority to come to a KIT conference but that
idea was soundly defeated (at least in part by someone who didn't even attend
US KITS!).
Opponents will claim that my input was disruptive and disrespectful, when in the main, it was posted as a retort/response to given posting by silver tongued Servants. It pains me that the sheeple cannot see this for themselves. Such is the way of the Bruderhof.
At any rate, I thought I would send out a warning, lest anyone else would fall
into the same trap I did!
