brands will present highly innovative finished orologi watch concepts
using a further development of the Progress Watch START See-through
Triple Axis Rotating Tourbillon?± movement at the world?ˉs two premier
watch and jeweler shows, BASELWORLD 2008, Basel, Switzerland (the
largest and most important Swiss watch fair) and during the
prestigious SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie)
exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland in early April (for the most
exclusive, luxury watchhttp://www.watcheshop.net/ manufacturers).

START movement featuring additional functions and special movement
design options are presently in final development. These expanded
designs have been engineered to satisfy different luxury uhren
watchhttp://www.watcheshop.net/ brands?ˉ demand for customized
movements.
The Progress uhren Watchhttp://www.watcheshop.net/ START tourbillon
mechanism netpletes a full rotation around the outer frame every 12 or
24 hours, depending on design. The inner dial indicates minutes and
makes a full rotation every 60 minutes while moving with the entire
mechanism along the outer circle. If desired, seconds can be indicated
directly on the movement?ˉs cage (centerpiece).
The hour pointer (shown in illustration with the red jewel far left),
indicates the hour on the outer dial, without the need for hands.
Removing the need for hands allows the entire START mechanism to be
viewable from both sides, creating the first see-through tourbillon
watch.
The precision mechanical movements are entirely manufactured in
Switzerland and meet the highest standards of the Haute Horlogerie
brands.
