Has anyone heard of this before?
It was used in a header to describe my son
{with a /Aspegers?} after it,
in a letter forwarded to myself
c.c. by the infant school, refusing him entry,
{I was 3rd on the list of 4 to receive a
copy}.
As well as the Asperger's Syndrome,
other doctors have mentioned ADD,
Hyperactivity, mild autism.
I am so confused.
I do not know what to do for my son.
He attends a special school, and one
playtraining session per week.
I do not get respite, but I have not
pushed for that as he gets so upset with
any change in routine.
I am also battered and bruised.
God Bless you all.

Ann
you are in the UK so the person you want is Dr. Elizabeth Newsom at
Nottingham University who first came up with Pathological Demand Avoidance
Syndrome and claimed to be able to distinguish it from autism.

Hope this helps
Mike

What is to stop rogue scientists coming up with all sorts of florid lables?
how does a dx get recognised in the UK? is there an ICD10 or DSM description
of Pathological etc.?
I relaise of course that aspergers was a rogue dx before it got recognised
