Would it be fair to say that medicines help some people, but aren't the best solutions for others?
So wouldn't it be best to consider and try alternatives even if the ultimate decision is to choose the medicines?

My thinking is that when one can choose for oneself then it is reasonable to choose medicines. However, when one is a parent trying to do the best for one's child then it could be a mistake to take a premature decision.

If medication solves a problem it doesn't necessarily mean that it is the only solution or that it is the best solution. However, I accept that it can be.
