Dear Tim;
I personally want to thank you for your thoughtful input, it was an
extremely accurate analysis but simultaneously downright scary.
On top of the myriad of dangerous side-effects that this drug
possesses,
weight-loss is but one more on a list that does not seem to end.
Could you
imagine being misdiagnosed with ADD and then hooked on a powerful
"speed"
to cure it and ending up so underweight that you would have to be
hospitalized? How many times a day this happens in this country
is unknown, but what is known is shocking enough.
The connection between Ritalin-abuse and weight-loss has been
exposed in the media many times and more frequently as time
goes on. Many members of this group have confessed to abusing
Ritalin as a substitute to diet pills. Where that has led many
unsuspecting
abusers we can only speculate; but the prognosis is not encouraging.
It is always great to hear from you and I know from the letters
I am receiving that the tide is turning and our side is gaining
momentum.
The tide has TURNED and we winning the info-war and not a moment too
soon.
