I suspect the relievers could have an effect on BP since they are the
oposite of beta-blockers, which are used to treat high BP in some
people. I notice by heart after a dose, but that's hardly ever these
days.
If you are having to use a reliever inhaler a lot it suggests your
treatment needs review. It's not clear from your post what the various
inhalers etc. you are taking are, and when you are taking them. It
seems (from reading this NG and personal experience) that getting good
control with steroid inhalers so that the reliever inhalers don't have
to be used (or hardly used) is where to get to. So if you need a
reliever most days it sounds like you need to review it all with a Dr
who is good with asthma. I mean good at treating it, not good and has
asthma!

What med's are you using? I have been using asthma meds for about 3
years (currently Flixotide{Flovent}, Serevent & Ventolin ) In the
past my
Blood pressure was always normal/low (sorry, can't remember the
numbers) ,
At a recent visit to my doctor my BP was 170/110,
I am now using tablets to try to lower it,
Does anyone think the asthma meds are part of the problem?

It would be very unusual for an antihistamine to raise blood pressure.
Occaionally, decongestant medications (which may be combined with an
antihistamine), may elevate blood pressure.
Inhaled steroids usually do not raise blood pressure. Oral steroids may
elevate pressure, probably related to the tendency to retain fluids.
Inahled bronchodilators, in some people, elevate the heart rate, but
usually have no significant effect on blood pressure.

My BP is higher when I take prednisone.
normally it´s 120/65 but when i take prednisone it can rise to a max
that I know of 155/110.
But I don´t take any anti-histamine.

Next time you need an oral steroid medicine, ask your physician to try
methylprednisolone (Medrol). It has the same anti-inflammatory effect as
prednisone, but less effect on sodium (salt) retention. Possibly it would
have less effect on your blood pressure. It also costs a lot more than
prednisone.
