Thanks for asking :-)
My feet are fine, it's my knees that don't work. OA, bone-on-bone,
wheelchair bound for the last 3 years and sick and tired of it, I
might add. I have my appointment next week to go to the doc who is 90
miles away to see if I'm a good candidate for Prolotherapy (I
mentioned this on another post a while back. This is where they
inject a solution into your knees to build up the cartiledge). My
problem is, can I make a long trip like that? My husband will drive,
of course, but I have trouble being in the car for 30 minutes let
alone an hour and a half or longer. I've already canceled one
appointment, but I'm really hoping to keep this one. And I'm hoping
it won't rain or snow that day!
Re Hasimoto's and fibro..I can't tell which is which? They both
involve pain in the muscles, exhaustion, weakness, etc etc etc. But,
for the first time since I started taking treatment for thyroid
problems ten years ago my blood work looks good :-).
How are you doing?
JenniB
Congratulations on the blood work. Doesn't it feel good whne something goes
right?
Take care,
Kelly

Two surgeons refused surgery for me, that's why I'm hoping for the
prolotherapy. These surgeons seem to think that I am a "bad risk" for
surgery due to my fibromyalgia, i.e., I wouldn't heal satisfactorly.
Honestly, I think they're just worried about their reputations and
don't want to take the chance that they might not have a successful
outcome with a patient.
I will report back when after meeting with this doctor....JenniB
I hope they can do something for your knees I will be praying that they can
fix you back up. I am sorry to hear you are in a wheelchair. Is this because
of your knees or knees and back.
We are getting ready for the big weekend of the move. I am feeling sick and
dizzy today so not much getting done today with me. I hope I can get it all
done in time though. I did get my shower, and washed the switch plates and
later on am going to wash the kitchen, dining room, hall and bathroom
floors. That way hopefully when Jim comes back down next week he will only
have to spot clean everything. I got the two bathrooms done, the computer
room inside windows done. He will have to finish doing windows for me. I got
the kitchen cabinets and stove done. I can't vacumn so he will have to do
that when he comes back down. so we are getting there, but I really wanted
to get more done.
Jim is coughing, and it is a funny cough, so I hope it is not his heart. We
have both been going and going for the last few weeks.

In one of your posts you mentioned PG&E. Being a (displaced)
California Girl this brings back good vibes. Where in California are
you moving to? I sure wish I had never moved. I lived in San Jose
for almost forever, and moved to California from Oregon when I was 11
yrs old, so I truly feel like California is my home. I now live up
here in Washington (Brrrrrr). Probably one of the biggest mistakes
I've ever made. mY fibromyalgia and everything else got really a lot
worse when I moved here.
Good luck on your move and your SD's surgery (what does SD mean?)
JenniB
SD stands for Strange Diva, who is my daughter in law.

The Bay Area!!! YAY!! My old stomping grounds. Which city? And
where are you moving from? From your posts it sounds like a short
move.
I know what you mean about accumulating so much stuff. My husband and
I just got rid of a few unneccessary items last night. I bought a new
frying pan not realizing I already had 13 plus 2 electric skillets!!
But, this one was so pretty, not just plain like my others. So, we
got rid of some old ones.
Good luck on your move. May your adjustment be smooth.
JenniB
It took about an hour to get over here.
It looks like we will have to weed out alot more too. The storage is packed
and now it will be hard to find things in there.

Isn't Antioch where that Philip somebody (starts with a G) and his
wife lived with the girl they kidnapped 18 yrs ago, JayCee Dugard?
And also the 2 daughters she had by him. They were a bit outside of
town, if I remember correctly. What a story that is!
I hope yoou like your new home and are very happy there.

> So, it wasn't such a long move. That makes it a lot better.
Don't let it get to you. Most places have a history, some just more
recent than others.
Between the time we bought our house and the time we moved in, they
discovered the bodies that Juan Corona (Big deal mass murderer forty
years ago) buried in the walnut orchards around Yuba City. He lived
a few blocks from our new home. Big walnut orchard between here and
his place. Thank heaven not in our orchard but in the ones north of
town.
But it was very unnerving when we went to visit my parents right
after we bought the place and my brother comes in with the newspaper
and says "where did you say you were moving to again?"
