OTP final update on Nate (was leukemia patient)

Got this message from my niece tonight. Unless there is some radical change
in the future, I think we can say Nate is on his way:

Great news today.... Nate went in for his follow up and no further surgery
is needed at this time. His body is healing itself. He is so excited that He
can participate in gym and recess now. Next week, after we have a PPT, He
will be a normal 7 year old. No more riding on the special bus and no more
adult support during the day. We are all so proud of Nate and all that He
has overcome.

Nate is still doing fine, as is his brother and little sister. Thanks so

Just got a message from my niece - an update on the family:

All 3 kids are back in school. Nate will now be riding the big bus with AJ
and He is sooooo excited. We also did away with a paraprofessional at all
time with him. And as He says it..... He is just normal Nate now, not Nate
with cancer. He is such a little old man. Emma will be seeing the geneticist
tomorrow. We are nervous and excited about this appointment. There is alot
of little things that We are noticing with Emma and 3 different doctors made
the suggestion to see the geneticist. Maybe, We will get some answers. Will
keep everyone posted. AJ is doing great. He went over to his grandparent's
and spent the night, over the weekend. He is busy making Kemo (the dog) a
dog house. He even put carpet on the inside and made a coat rack so Kemo can
"hang up his jackets". Kids are so cute!!!!! I am busy starting a new job.
I did one night so far and it wasn't bad. We just need to work out a
schedule for everyone. Thanks for checking in on us. Will keep everyone
posted on Emma.
