I fried my vacuum cleaner, so now need to look for a new one.

Can't complain too much, as the vaccum was about 14-16 years old.

So, what all do you have (brand/model) and do you like the vacuum you
have? Is it easy to maneuver? Does it clean well?

Boy do I love mine.
Youngest daughter bought it for me about five years ago.
Has three kinds of filters and literally floats after me.

It's a SEBO. Never heard of them, but she had one and loved it, so
when she
saw the twenty five year old, duct taped model I was using, she took
pity on me.
I have to clean from the chair, so I need one that follows alone easily.

Oh so sorry Donna. But yes, 14-16 years to have one is pretty darn good.
LOL I don't vacuum at all anymore. Don helps me by either Swiffering wet
and dry or a long handled mop with a soft, cloth that you can Velcro onto
the bottom. If you can picture that. You can take the cloths off and
machine wash them and then I let them air dry. Or, Don may vacuum
occasionally for me. I try to do the best I can. I wouldn't say the condo
is filthy because we would never live like that, but it isn't spotless like
I could make it years ago. :-) It'll do. We have a Kenmore canister
vacuum which is not very heavy, but too heavy for me now. It's really not
that bad and we've had it for a long time because we don't actually use it
like we did before. Hope you find a nice, light and reasonable one. Ours
wasn't very costly either, but can't remember just how much it was.

Gentle hugs,

Diane

7:03pm Evening Donna. My last sweeper is a light weight Eureka, The
Boss.. It is so much easier for me to handle, and it picks up very
good.. Every other vacuum that i've owned was on the heavy side.. Sorry
you went out on you.. You got a lot of service from it though.. Good
luck in locating one that you will be happy with..
