Your diet is what's making you stiff. And
a little additional knowledge about what to
avoid. (Like the Plague- or arthritis, which
is worse than the plague.)
john
let me ask you this John (if that is your name), how many types of
arthritis are there? Are all the types, in your opinion, treated the
same? How can you explain a tiny baby getting arthritis, one who is
not yet on a regular diet? How do you know members of this group are
not vegan and do not follow a sensible diet?
You cannot claim to know what causes arthritis.Scientists have been
working on finding that out for years. If it were only as simple as
diet, none of us would be here.
It is as simple as diet, Rose (if that is your name).
Tiny babies contract the virus responsible for
arthritis, heart disease, hair loss, and many
other ailments from their mother- either in the
birth canal during birth or earlier in the womb.
And that is the greatest shame; the sins of the
parents resulting in these poor sick babies.
Diet affects that virus like when they
band trees to interrupt a paracyte's
cycle: certain fats are required by the virus
for some reason, and if you withhold those fats,
you can reverse the spread.
I don't know how many types of arthritis there are,
Rose, but everybody has a different path. What
treatment? Who is being treated and getting better?
I got better. By finding the right diet. It's more than
just being vegan; you have to be very careful what fats
you take in, and what's been done to those fats.
I know the members of this group are not
restricting from their diets what I restrict from mine
because if they were they could join my 60 and over
hula-hooping club- because after a few years their
joints would once again articulate like they were
supposed to. I'll be starting that club in April, when
I turn 60.
I've been working on solving what was happening to me
since 1972, when I was in second year medicine.
It's one of my manias, of which I have a few. I'm sure
there are arthritis symptoms caused
by other things, like lacking some nutrient, or
whatever, but for sure your arthritis and everyone else's
on this group is caused by this virus. IMO
But I know for sure I'm wasting my time, because you
have to eat the cows. You're fixated on sucking on
Bossy's udder and eating her calf and all her brothers.
Or, you can do this:
http://users.accesscomm.ca/john/60hulahoop.GIF
I'm going to do another of these with your name on my shirt,
Rose, cause my back was hurting a little when I
did that one. You can see I'm kinda sideways.
john
You know, except for missing a few links at the end (in a sig line),
I'd swear Rusty had nym-shifted.
I bet he can't explain why some American Indian tribes cannot
assimilate enough protein from anything other than meat. Or why some
with RA find relief in Atkins plan diets (because RA uses
carbohydrates to cause inflammation, the more carbs the worse the
inflammation). Off to see if I can locate that study again, my doc
wants to read it.

Had a friend on another group, who swore it was gluten that caused all
the problems. She went off of gluten and her RA nearly disappeared
(so, we cut out meat according to John, and we cut out gluten
according to Susan...).
Hey- I can hula hoop again.
Click on this GIF.
http://users.accesscomm.ca/john/60hulahoop.GIF
I can sprint for a block.
I can do a flat out run for about 3 blocks.
I'm good to go.
Whether or not you believe me won't change that.
But I feel a moral responsibility to try.
Arthritis, heart disease, hair loss, depression, all these
are caused IMO by Human Herpesvirus 2.
I have determined the diet to beat it, but one must
also avoid continually re-infecting, so some kind
of moral code must be adhered to.
john
I can hula hoop now, and I can barely walk, what that prove?

Good for you. When the Remicade worked, I could run 3 miles a day.
> Whether or not you believe me won't change that.
Didn't say I didn't believe you, only pointed out that what works for
you may not work for others, and could cause serious consequences.
I'm happy it worked for you.
I already know that vegetarianism does *not* work for me, I only need
to nearly die once from protein deficiency (regardless of the amount
of tofu, beans, eggs, cheese, peanut butter, and other forms of plant
based protein sources I consumed). That's the American Indian part
(according to my nutrionist).
> But I feel a moral responsibility to try.
and as RoseB said, there are hundreds of forms of inflammatory
arthritis. Not all are treated the same way, what can put one form
into remission, can put another form into aggressive activity.
> Arthritis, heart disease, hair loss, depression, all these

Interesting. I have RA and I don't have genital herpes (HHV-2). So,
while it is your opinion, and you are entitled to it, you are
incorrect, and I'd bet it isn't just in my own case.
> I have determined the diet to beat it, but one must

So, you are stating that in your opinion, everyone with arthritis
(heart disease, hair loss, and depression) has an STD and they are
morally ambiguous at best? How nice. I can state, with certainty
that I have no STDs (nor does my spouse), and we are both monogamous
(and always have been).

So then are you saying that people who have "arthritis" , heart
disease, hair loss, and depression are immoral? Interesting. How do
you explain a two year old belonging to a family of born again
Christians having RA? Your term "some kind of moral code" suggests
nothing more than your misguided notion of your own moral superiority.
If causes of disease were as simple as a lack of morality, why then
are not murderers, adulterers, and others who could be defined as
amoral not be affected? Since when was hair loss a disease?
I have had RA since I was a young child. At one time, when my disease
was well-controlled, I walked six miles every day. My morality has
never has always been above reproach.
I don't wish to argue with you because I would rather spend my time in
healthful activities. I chose to respond simply because I could not
allow your self-perceived moral superiority go unchallenged.
Eggs and cheese are not plant based, are loaded with
cholesterol, and are about the worst thing for you. If you are your
own
dietician and almost die, then I suggest a new dietician. Even
continuing sickness suggests- new dietician.
Do not fry or bake with olive oil. You will exceed its smoke point and
be
eating trans-fats. Use oils with higher smoke points for fry or bake
like
grapeseed oil.

Most people with Herpes don't even know it.
The genital symptoms are very mild and transitory.
Look at this picture: these marks on the face are diagnostic:

Of course.
Everyone out there has only ever had one partner,
and that's their spouse. We all know that's as true
for ourselves as for all the others. But what about the fact that
50% of 'cold sores' are HV2? Nobody ever kiss you either?
There are a lot of other perfectly innocent ways to get it, too,
especially as population density increases.

I never claimed to be my own dietician. I also did not claim that
eggs and cheese were plant based, only that I ate other plant based
protein "replacements". I would never change my diet that drastically
without a licensed nutritionist, and my physician, on board with the
change.

I don't *fry* anything.

I presume you are sharing a photo of something, but as I'm not a
member of that particular site, I can't log in.
All your statement tells me is that you aren't aware of your own
genitals (and you aren't married to someone who is). I am in both
instances.

Let me see... Firstly, cite for the cold sore statement, please.
Second, hubby and I are both former military (and yeah, he is my
only). We had both been tested every year for STDs, among other
things (it was part of our yearly physical).
I have blood work every year, that tests me for all communicable
diseases that I could have (including STDs), because RA treatment
reduces the immune system's ability to fight any infection.
Read this:
http://www.herpes.com/hsv1-2.html
(You click on it.)
Since you may not be able
to take the whole thing in,
they basically say that HPV1 and HPV2 only differ
by their preferred site of infection.
They are basically alike genetically,
sharing 50% of their genes (sorry about
my inaccurate statement above.)

And doesn't cure the RA.
I suggest you follow the diet I proscribe.
Today I ran about two miles behind my dog.
On roads and sidewalks covered with ice and snow.
I am 60.
I can hula hoop.
I can do 15 full-hang chin-ups
http://users.accesscomm.ca/john/60hulahoop.GIF
(The above is also a picture, but a moving
one- you also click on it to see it.)
John.
The idea that food is a direct cause of RA is false in most cases. (In
a very few instances people
have been shown to have their disease exacerbated by certain items in
their diet)
When I fist got the disease 31 years ago I tried a number of different
'cure' diets
with no effect other than to make me totally bored with the
particular food concerned.
I also considered researching food as a cause, but there simply wasn't
enough evidence to
make further work worthwhile, (though I would't rule out a possible
link between RA and the digestive system).
We did have some success in showing that certain
infections could be concerned in the development of AS and RA, but
these diseases do
not have a simple single cause, though they may have substances that
trigger them.
It would be nice to be able to point to a simple cause, but it hasn't
been done yet.

Allow me to elucidate. I click on the link, then I get a new window,
which gives me the option to "sign in".
I am alot of things, idiot is not among them. However, since you have
now shown yourself to be exactly what I thought... We are done.
Did you try a diet that completely avoids hydrogenated fats?
I would say not.
john
Joan, don't let him bother you.
SD (Annie) - though I appreciate the thought ;-)
'exactly what I thought'
Yes, a bad person who got better from
a disease that he can see almost everyone else is suffering
from, so he is trying to tell them what he knows but
is told by all of them that
he is wrong, even though his joints feel
like he is twenty again, he can hula hoop, he can run,
he has no pain anymore, he needs no drugs anymore............
Sorry about the link, it should be
http://users.accesscomm.ca/john/face1.jpg
The red spots are exactly where
it periodically gets sore and swollen and
leaves behind a more and more prominent mark.
Guaranteed you have them.
john
Sorry, you are right.
The address has to start with 'http', not ftp

Nope, after your "idiot" comment, I believed you were nothing more
than a spamming troll. After *this* particular mini-tirade, I believe
I'm correct.
Just because it worked for you, does *not* mean it works for everyone,
as you stated it would.

Too bad I didn't bet you any money. I do *not* have them, have never
had them. I do not get cold sores, I do not get fever blisters. I
could send you a photo, but why bother, you wouldn't believe it
anyway.
Now, I really *am* finished chatting.
> Just because it worked for you, does *not* mean it works for everyone,
> as you stated it would.
Believe it or not, you and I
are very similar genetically. The only
reason it wouldn't work for you
or for many others is because you would never
commit.
Try it, you might buy it. (Not only is it
free compared to those poisonous chemicals
they've got all you people
eating like candy; eating this way is far less
expensive than meat.)
Or don't, continue being a 'good shepherd' to
our four-footed and finned friends, and sample some
more poison from Big Pharma.

Promise?
You're finished chatting but still living with pain.
I am pain-free, my spine is straightening back out
since my bum came back up- that's why people's
shoulders and head come forward is because
their bum goes under- the bum going under has
to do with the ganglia at the base of the spine
being the locus point for HPV2 which changes things
because of inflammation and swelling.
The HPV1 virus has a different ganglion that it goes
to somewhere in the head, because its preferred
point of entry is the lips. They are basically the same
virus, so maybe HPV1 also causes arthritis.
I don't know- I've never had a cold sore ('fever blister'), either.
But having either HPV confers immunity for the other.
john
I know it's unpopular.
If everyone quits eating what the meat-producers
have to offer ( very sad things ) then there goes
an industry.
If everyone quits needing their meds, then there
goes another industry.
It's just not economically feasible to solve sickness
period, and throw in the loss of the meat and other
enslaved sentient living things industies and you got
a lose-lose situation bigtime.
So you're stuck with your arthritis, guys- get over it.
Hey!! I'm up to 14 full hang chinups this month!!
And I've done them twice already!~! Fun! I've never
had muscles before, but now with a second chance
I'm seeing how far I can go.
(I was 13 for December- Im increasing 1 per month)
bye
john
john
That's pretty good. Going to have to remember that one.
> Please supply name and address that I can pass on to the Maricopa Couty

I still think Rusty may have morphed (except that this one doesn't
seem to use as many vulgar descriptives) or found a convert.
Fraud for what, Binky?
Tell you what, I'll upload a one minute video
of me hula hooping with the Canada/Swiss hockey game behind
(presently at 6 to 1 with 1 minute remaining)
It's going into YouTube right now
Ow- hit from behind--ow!!!
I'll put the link in in about 15 minutes.
OK, here you go, girls.
I've looked at this twice- I didn't realize I had such a cute
little pot- must be the beer-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGpLRagPCcs
I don't hula hoop often but maybe if
I did I could lose the pot.
john
Thanks Rose, (if that's your name).
I searched Rusty.
He seems to be another that's honestly out
there thinking and looking.
Interesting that Chlamydia has been linked
to arthritis.
Chlamydia and HPV almost always travel together.
It's very hard to culture one
without getting the other.
Your bunch seem to be a lot like the MS crowd:
proud to be sick and sure no-one can cure them.
A modified vegan diet worked for me.
But you're special- of course it wouldn't work for you!
john
