Donna, do you have any news or any way to talk to the family to find
out how Squirrely Jo is doing. She was an active member of the group for
so long. I tried her phone - disconnected. Snail mail doesn't bring a
response. I am really worried about her.

LJ,

Unfortunately, I do not have any phone numbers or anything for SJ. I
have the address on Dill Rd., but not even sure that is the correct
address any more.

Sorry, wish I could be of more help. I wonder if she does FB at all?

How are you feeling after your surgery? Sure hope the surgery was a
success and that you are noticing some improvement. You have been
through so much the last several months!

How is your mom holding up through all of this?

2) ANGELS EXIST, but some times, since they don't all have wings, we
call them FRIENDS......

3) Just because you're in pain, doesn't mean you have to be one!

Last time I saw her post on there was almost a year ago. Then she did a
brief comment on here. All I can do right now is pray.

I am beginning to feel better. The surgeon just told me to use it
normally. That was a little hard to do since I had literally without a
shoulder for about 4-5 months! Thanks for asking.I had some trouble
typing until we raised my chair. I do a lot spaces in and between
because my hands are raised up enough.

Believe it or not, Mom is doing quite well. After five weeks, she
decided to move into a senior living place we had looked into. I was
glad because she wasn't home alone. The first episode at the rehab
place (when I arrived there, I could not move anything, but the only
place that really hurt was t he bedpan area) was two months long due to
aspiration pneumonia. I had no symptoms by the way, but was told my
temperature spiked to 104 degrees with no warning. I was literally out
of my head with the pain. I was told about this later. I remember
none of it, except a brief moment when my son was determining which
hospital to send me to. The three days I spent at the hospital consists
only on memories of the nurse's aides "ripping" the bedpans off. We
feel that they had me of morphine, do they could get an MRI of my hips
which is where they th ou ght the pain was. Well, missing letters adn
shpaces so better say good night my friend

PS I have day care women from a franchised agency, since I was smart
enough to buy a Long Term Insurance Policy.

LJ, maybe still trying to leave SJ a private message on FB. You never
know, she might just pop online some where down the line and see it.

Wish I could remember her son and daughter in laws names, because didn't
SJ and Jim move in with them? Maybe if some one could remember their
names, contact could be made with them (call information or look up
information online) to try to find out how SJ is doing?

Donna, I have an address for them and assume their son and dil. I Any-
who'd any Stuarts in Oakley CA (last address I have). I got a number
for the Mockingbird Lane address (under her son's name, Andrew), but it
is disconnected. There was a Robert Stuart listed in Oakley (only two
Stuarts in Oakley). I got an answering machine, so left a brief message
and my phone number. The least he can do is say he doesn't know them.
I'm afraid she's back in the hospital she was before, or... I don't
know, I guess I'm just afraid. God bless her where ever she is.

AMEN, LJ, AMEN!

She and Jim both went through sooooo much, and she always had so much
compassion for everyone else, I do pray that she and Jim, both are doing
alright!

I may of course be thorougly mistaken, but this site has several entries by
SJ and the last one seems to be made on March 2, 2012:

(I've been a lurker here for ages, so I know most of the regulars by their
posting name, but unfortunately I have never found the energy to be able to
become a regular contributor, and having a blinding eye disease doesn't
help...not so much computer time :-s.)

Thanks, Mo. I had found that one, but using the latest phone no for her
gets a "this number is disconnected" with no forwarding number given.

Yes, I read about the phone no, but I was wondering if perhaps she would
read a message posted on that site, so that contact could be established. At
the very least I'd say the post is an indication that she was well enough to
post earlier this month. That's good news, IMO :-).

there are several posts, bur it doesn't sound like our sj as she didn't
have much money to send cards with. i couldn't find one posted by her
but then i don't know the ins and outs of that group.

I went and looked at the site that Moe posted and did see a post by SJ.
It sounded very very much like the old SJ. She talked about how she
doesn't have any insurance and how financially strapped she is and about
having FM, etc.

That particular post was under a thread about having problems with
eyesight and such.

Did you post a message to her? Was there an email address available?
I sure miss her. She had such a strong faith.

No, webtv wouldn't let me post to anything and also couldn't see the
addy. Sorry!

Think you need a computer to access that particular site.

Just received a letter from Jo! She has a cell phone and says that she
called me and left a message with her cell number. The way I've been in
and out of rehab, it's very possible it got lost in the rush. I will
call her this weekend (as her minutes are cheaper then). She has all
this medical problems right now and they will run out of money in two
months. I think it will take six pages for me to tell her what's been
going on. Of course, between Medicare And Tricare, I'm ok. According to
the return address on her letter, the Mockingbird Lane address is still
good.

Pray for her, Don, she's actually not doing well. She is facing a need
for surgery with their money running out soon. They are trying for
medicaid, but there's always that gap in between. I will call on
Saturday and give her everybody's good wishes and prayers.

Thanks, LJ, for letting us know that you found her.

SJ should be dealing with a social worker with the hospital where she
will have her surgery. Those hospital social workers know their way
around medicaid and how to get it pushed through quickly because of
medical situations/emergencies, etc.

Also wonder if she and her husband are drawing SSI? They both should
qualify I would think!

Hope all goes well for her surgery!

Thanks again for letting us know you found a way to get in touch with
her! I'm so happy you were able to track her down!

Thanks, will make those suggestions to her when I talk to her on
Saturday. I think they've tried that but too young, too something -
can't place it, but maybe their circumstances have changed for that.

Hi, Donna and gang

I'm doing fine; I've never had enough arthritis to affect my everyday
life. You may recall my wife had a shoulder replaced quite a few
years ago, and since then her arthritis hasn't been much of a problem
either. I watch this group, and am on Facebook but only for my family
genealogy group. Thanks for asking.

I had one knee replaced three years ago and the right shoulder this past
January. Since I had been without a rotator cuff for six months,
therapy is a bit different. We are having the right arm move with the
left arm. I'm slowly getting back up to typing speed. and learning how
to lift high.

I'm only on Facebook to keep up with my kids and grandkids and the
group. (Oh, I do play Scrabble, I must confess)
