I just got an email from my sister in DC, and she has some great stories.
She had no electricity for 12 hours and they stuck their food in the snow.
She said she couldn't understand why people were complaining their food was
spoiling. LOL

It snows all the time here so I got no stories.

Hope you're all surviving.

It is snowing pretty hard at the moment but it would have to continue for
about a week before I would say that we were "snowed-in."

In the last few weeks there have been nights when I couldn't go out
because my driveway was too dangerous to even attempt leaving, but by
noon or so the next day it has always melted. And I only plowed it for
the first snow, the rest I let it melt. I was out this morning at the
store and did _not_ stock up on milk, eggs, and bread.

We in Toronto got about 2 cms last night, just enough to make a mess, but
roads got salted as some were slippery, but they are OK now. We havent have
any snow this winter so far, to complain about. A lot of snow seems to miss
Toronto area until about 60 miles north and a lot stays south of the border
like in Philadelphia, Washington,DC and New York City got a lot of snow and
are all digging out. Are you in Niagara region Ron? Aren't you on Lake Erie?

Lots and lots of snow here in Ohio. We had 2 major snowstorms in one week
and we're finally able to get out and about. Nanny

Same in this part of Ohio, Nanny. I've seen enough snow for the next ten
years!

It has been a snowy winter here on Long Island. I am quite sick of the cold
and snow already :P~
