Hi All,

Recently, I went and signed up to go and study art(beginners level), 3
days per week(2 days in college/1 day in a seperate class).

Frankly, I'm not any good at art...; and, that's exactly why I wish to
learn how to improve.

Also, because I love art like crazy! I figure, I'm not getting any
younger(43 years old)...; and, as I only have one life to live...;
then, might as well do the things I really and truly want to do.

My major problem is lacking sufficient discipline...to have time,
patience, effort, perseverance, -etc....to go study by copying real
life/masters/proportions/perspective/light/shade/reflections/-etc.

Instead, I just tend to dash out really quick mere outline sketches
done purely from the imagination, alone. Needless to say, this
translates as I just create a total mess every single time!

So, I know exactly what I'm doing wrong. But, without having sufficient
self-discipline, I find it very hard to correct on my own mistakes;
instead, I end up repeating all of the same mistakes over again and
again.

That's why I decided to go and study art in school...; if I find I
can't force self-discipline from inside of myself...; then, in this way
self-discipline will be forced on me from outside, instead. That's if I
don't choose turn up late to classes/or, miss whole days/weeks/or, even
quit going to school altogeather(as I can't stand the strict
self-discipline, anymore?)!

Anyway, this is how I see things...; even if you fail...; you can't
just give up on yourself altogeather(even if everybody else refuses to
believe in you, anymore/you have to keep on believing in yourself that
you CAN and WILL achieve your goals)...; instead, all you can do is
just keep on trying...; and, who knows maybe one day, sooner or
later(in my case, most probably, later)...you might succeed.

Bye/-Paul(UK/London)

PS: Have a NICE day!
;-)

If anyone is curious...(and, I warn you expect to see nothing else,
but, COMPLETE CRAP!)...this is my online gallery of drawings taken from
stuff which I did on the computer using the program MS Paint.

Hi Paul from the UK!

This is Jessica Marie from the US! I DID check out that web site &
it's great! I'm an artist, also---but I have no idea how to download
a piece of art. Do you take a picture of it on a digital camera or
what? I'm an ignorant person this way, so please.....enlighten me?
Anyone else, check it out just to look at some of the art works
that they show, they're wonderful! Thanks, Paul!
