Hypertension Question

I wonder if somebody here will please be able to answer this query for me.

I have got a disability, having been born with no fingers on my left hand.
My question is, would having my blood pressure taken on that arm make any
difference? I have just had my BP read by my doctor - who (very unusually)
used my left arm and the reading was lower than I expected it to be! I want
to know if it really is as low as I was told (I really hope so!)

I have no idea Chris, but am wondering why you dont just do a test to find
out? Get a nurse or chemist or demo a BP meter in a store and try it on both
your arms.
