"The View" host Whoopi Goldberg claimed on Wednesday that former President
Donald Trump planned to round people up and put them into "camps" if he ever
won a second term in the White House.

During a discussion with her cohosts about the upcoming 2024 presidential
election, Goldberg argued that inflation and the inability to keep up with
household bills would pale in comparison to what Trump might do with another
four years.

"What's interesting for me is that people's faith in the country is waning,"
Goldberg began. "That's the thing that's pissing me off, because, in fact,
there's a reason Joe Biden ran the way he did. There's a reason he's running
for democracy now, because that's really what's at stake."

"You're worried that you can't pay your bills?" she continued. "Wait 'til he
-- the other guy -- becomes president, and you won't have to worry about it
because you'll be in some camp somewhere."

"'Cause that's his promise," she insisted. "His promise to us is he's going
to force people to do his bidding, that's what he said. 'I'm going to be good
on day one, and I'm going to turn into this other person.'"

"So here's the deal: this is all up to you," Goldberg turned to the audience
then, saying that people voting to stop Trump was the only was to prevent the
terrible things she claimed would happen otherwise.

"Do you want the country that you kind of thought we had, where we all get to
say what we think and we don't have to be afraid of being American?" she
asked.

She then pivoted to discuss illegal immigration in vague terms, saying that
some people came into the country in different ways than others -- and she
claimed that Americans had to accept that because those people were coming
from places that were "not good."

"Fight for that. Don't fight for keeping everybody out, because then we all
have to leave," she claimed.

[You know the Leftists are desperate when they use this tired ol fear
mongering tactic.]
