Stargate Responds to Market Direct Spam Complaints

You are receiving this message because you submitted a spam complaint to
ab...@sgi.net on or after December 3rd, 1997 regarding spam originating
from
or advertising services in the 208.223.229 and 208.223.230 networks.
This includes domains such as lsenterprises.net, jtsr.com,
mkt-direct.com
and wild-thing.net. As a result of spam related to these networks, the
daily volume of email to ab...@sgi.net has increased approximately
20-fold
with reports of disruption of service.

As a quality service provider, we have a well-publicized policy
prohibiting
spam, and we enforce that policy vigorously. We immediately investigated
the
matter based upon your complaints.

On Saturday, December 6th, 1997 9:30am EDT, after prior notice and
warning,
we were required to shut the circuit down because of continued spamming.
We
sincerely appreciate your voluntary efforts in assisting us with
correcting
this matter.
