>As Stewart continued talking about Star Trek movies he dropped a
surprise; revealing there is a Star Trek movie script being written with
him in mind:

>“So it’s an ongoing procedure for me. I heard only last night about a
script that is being written, but written specifically with the actor,
Patrick [Stewart], to play in it. And I’ve been told to expect to
receive it within a week or so. I’m so excited because it sounds like
the kind of project where the experimentation that I want to do will be
essential for this kind of material. It’s good at 83…”

Hmm! I was going to ask if it was a "Star Trek:Next Generation" film or
not .... but then I realised that, as it's been 30 years since ST:NG,
the chances of that being the case are extremely slim! ;-(

Have you seen Star Trek: Picard? Specially season 3 can be considered as
a TNG season.

No, I've not seen it, but I have heard a little bit about it. It may
have been on one or other of the Pay-TV channels, but there's enough on
the Free-to-Air Channels to keep me busy!!

We've just had Star Trek:Discovery on Free-to-Air (twice) so I figured
'they' might follow that up with 'Picard' ... but to no avail .... YET!!

Season 3's finale was pretty good IMO.

Star Trek: Picard season 3 was a nostalgia-fest and that's exactly why
the whole thing kind of worked. It'd be ok if that was the end but if
they got a great script -- a movie is fine by me.
