I know I've seen it somewhere, and I need it for a debate on SB.

That's good, but it doesn't seem to have much to do with the more
destructive/lethal/aggresive sith powers.

You forgot absorb energy (rare) and the ability to use the force to travel
through hyperspace (extremely rare, only happened with one or two force
users *way* back in the OR I think).

(DS)

run fast
see the past
see old friends long gone
control pain
detoxify poison
hibernation trance
resisting stun/remaining conscious
memory enhancement
danger sense (like spiderman)
combat sense (hostile and dangerous beings/things highlighted in the Jedi's
mind)
telepathy
empathy
affect minds
control minds (DS)
inflict pain without physical harm (DS)
body temperature control
instinctive astrogation
create Force storms (DS [only the Emperor has been seen doing this])
drain life forces to empower yourself (DS)
shield against solid objects (whether this is a form of telekinesis or an
actual screen I'm not sure of)
wipe memory (DS)

these are the basics, for the complete list used by WEG see
http://www.wcug.wwu.edu/~paradox/force.html, but mind you, this is WEG, the
same company that says the Executor is 8km long.

I don't mean navigate, I mean travel without a ship.

Pretty much. I didn't list individual branched off powers. For example, WEG
makes a distinction between draining life from small animals to stay awake
and draining life from a planet's population to gain more power. IMO it's
the same power, just used a bit differently.

Oh, and I forgot absorb/dissipate/deflect energy. Oops.

Wow!

And all this from midichlorin?
Sounds like this gives the ability to tap into energy from outside the
regular universe. Maybe hyperspace. The energy to do these things has to
come from somewhere. Only one thing is really missing: Real telepathy. And
maybe transporting though time and space on a regular basis. That would be
totally cool too.

You know, some of even the stuff that can be done by the Jedi sounds pretty
kinky....;-)
Has any force user, good or bad, has ever tried to use the force in a more,
ahem, creative way?

But one can switch from jedi to sith and back (I think I heard that happened
to Luke in those DarkHorse comic books?).
So the difference between Jedi/Sith/ Darkforce is really a matter of using
the very same force in a different way? Use it for good: Jedi. Use it for
bad: Sith. Tied to good or bad emotions of course. Such as the giving of
life force to cure some one as in the taking of energy. It is a matter of
direction, of the flow of the energy?
I wonder what would happen if they injected a vulcan with midichlorin. One
of course who is complete master of his or her emotions. Or a changeling!

Just curious, have you heard of something called <snip>?

O yeah! And sometimes I even use it.
But the use of it varies from NG to NG and sometimes I mix the use of <snip>
up.
In some NGs the rule is to <snip> as much as possible, and others have the
rule not to. The advantage of that is that one just has to jump to the most
recent message and still get the whole discussion. And a disadvantage of
<snip> is that one can do away with what might be important info. Hence.
But to demonstrate my ability to use it... See above what is missing.
