IMO the new Star Trek trumps the old canon in the same way the Revenge of
the Sith trumped the other 5 Star Wars movies.

What say you all?

Always appeal to a man's enlightened self interest, you can trust him to
look out for himself honestly,
It's when you appeal to his Honor or the Common Good that he stops paying
attention.

To repeat:
As that other Doctor with the Blue Box might say, 'That universe
still exists but is now locked in a loop of its' own, and no math or
amount of energy will allow entrance. This new universe is the one
you must now live in for better or worse'.
Which opens up a can of worms, will Ambassador Spock reveal what he
knows, at least to Starfleet Security, about dangers still out there?

New path...new canon, technologies took a twist...Gary Mitchell and Dr.
Dehner may have been on the ships that went to Vulcan and got ambushed.
Events 25 years previous may have sent Robert April on a different path
entirely. We'll have to wait and see....hope this one makes enough for
at least five more and I hope a) I don't go broke and homeless b) and
live long enough to see them.

I loved it!!!!!
in fact i'm trying to work my .sig to reflect that and keep it four
lines....its four lines in notepad but Xnews keeps making it five.

It's not a matter of trumping, as it is separate. They are two different
series now, although Enterprise is common to both. It happened before.
Vs debates should be considered as Old Trek vs Star Wars and New Trek
vs. Star Wars.
