The creators and maintainers of Star Trek in Sound and Vision are
pleased to announce the most extensive carried out since the site went
live nearly a year ago.

The main news is that First Contact has now come to Star Trek in
Sound and Vision. We now have the single largest collection of sound
files and image files from the movie on the net. Most of the files are
wholly exclusive to Star Trek in Sound and Vision and simply can't be
found anywhere else! We invite you to come along and take a look,
however we're advising everyone visiting the site that the First Contact
pages are likely to be very popular and problems with download times may
therefore ensue. Please be patient with us here.

After an overwhelming amount of requests to amend the zipped .BMPS to
.JPGs every desktop image now comes in .JPG format.

The site has now been re-sized to accomodate an 800 resolution and there
are now new graphics on *every* page. As always we're interested in your
opinion take a look and let us know what you think.

We've also included our regular update of files from across each of the
four Series. We've been busy fulfiling requests from TOS, TNG, DS9 and
Voyager. TOS fans will at last find .WAVs and .JPGs of Harry Mudd and
his absolutely delightful wife Stella and Voyager fans will find
pictures of Seven of Nine.

So come a long and take a look, and don't forget to give us your opinion
and let us know of any requests that you may have.
