Okay, here's a new question:

I recently saw a DS9 episode that has Worf singing along to a Klingon opera on
the bridge of the Defiant. Does anyone know if that is a compostion strictly
for that episode (and is it available?) or is simply an obscure 20th century
work that they were stating was Klingon for effect?
Basically, I'd love to get ahold of any produced Klingon opera -- or anything
20th century that resembles it closely.

Qapla'!

You probably heard a piece of the "famous" (yet unknown on earth) opera
"Akuth and Melota".

Looking for Klingon music? Currently there are three possibilites I know of:

Tek for Trek: Degh
A klingon song ("Degh" in three versions (trad. / tek rev. /
human rev.), klingon verses, good music. The team is German, but
for the US (or international) you can find this CD under:
http://www.tekfortrek.com/
For Germany look at:
http://www.khemorex-klinzhai.de/culture/Degh/

The Klingon Family: No Mercy
A fan project by Klingons of Khemorex Klinzai (Germany) - thus
"only" a CD-R. All Lyrics in English. Songs:
* The Ballad of Qumnawlogh
* Nights in Black Leather
* Yesterday
* Born to be DarkH
* The Last Words of Jadzia
* Klingon Boy
The CD-R is not publically available. If you are still
interested, I can contact the authors wether they are willing to
produce another copy of this fan/parody song CD.

Bianca Maria Gerlich: Klingon Aria
The aria "Un bel di vedremo" from "Madame Butterfly" - and its
klingon translation "jajna' wIleghchoHbej". See

I think that if they were to post them on eBay, do a Dutch bid, they could
sell as many as they wanted to.
I'd certainly want one...
