Here is the opportunity of a lifetime for Star Trek Fans! On Septemeber 3 - 5th 2004 the Wilmark Dynasty will host a Live Action Role Playing event set in the Star Trek Universe. Here's your chance to portray a member of the Federation (or one of its enemies) as decisions that will effect a galaxy are made!

Narendra III Summit

The road through the undiscovered country has taken its toll on the galaxy. Years of conflict and frustration brought its greatest federation to the brink of galactic war... war which it could not win, nor could it afford not to fight. Tension within the Federation threatened to pull asunder what the heroes of the past, both military and civilian, had woven with such great care and devotion. The wolves, righteous in their hunger, were circling.  Known space might now rend in such a way that the lessons of mankind¹s youth were naught but misinformed shadows. The bravest warriors of many worlds stood in grim determination with tears upon their cheeks. The galaxy exposed stood bare and weak.

Klingon warships at Narenda III suspected nothing, nor did their senses alert them. The Romulans with their great cloaked warbirds descended upon Narenda III. The Klingons would die, ashamed of their weakness. Romulan guile and cunning would have them undone before they could unsheathed their weapons and die a warrior¹s death. Unable to comport themselves with honor, the Klingons thus dishonored would pass from time and memory without distinction.

Yet on this day, the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, made resolute by its Captain and championed by its officers, prized their honor over all else. Not once but twice the Enterprise interceded on behalf of the Klingons allowing the Klingon warriors to die amidst the glorious carnage as was expected by their kind.  It was honor, damnable honor, that impressed an empire that day. Though all was lost in the savagery of the Romulan aggression, something else was born. Respect, the Enterprise in forfeiting itself and its crew, had forged an unbreakable bond of respect between the Federation and the Klingon High Command.

The decision for the future now laid in the hands of the Federation Council. War could be avoided. An enemy could now become an ally. Star Fleet could once again continue to bravely go. However, the path of ahead was still littered with conflicting ideals, many lost in their own self importance. What lies ahead in the dark, cold, blackness of space?

Labor Day  2004 join us on a journey of discovery. An emergency session of the Federation Council will convene to decide what  direction that journey will travel. The setting for this event is Federation Space nearly 60 years after the initial voyages of the U.S.S. Enterprise and some 20 years before its reincarnation in the Next Generation. Note this is not a sanctioned storyline by Paramount Pictures or the estate of Gene Rodenberry. Nor is there an attempt to make this event 100% consistent with the TV series, the movies, or any other published novels, comics or game components. However, this is an attempt to simulate what might have happened borrowing heavily from all those sources for realism and drama.
