Congratulations to all the winners and a huge THANK YOU to our
intrepid awards staff. I'm glad to see so many high-quality stories
and writers get the recognition they deserve. There are at least a
dozen fine stories that I would have missed were it not for others'
feedback.

I'm thankful to everyone who commented on my stories; I appreciate the
feedback more than you know.

One question to Stephen, et. al. -- will you eventually post the full
voting placements and/or numbers?

Thanks again!

Woohoo!

This was my first published TOS thing, and my first filk. I'm very glad
people appreciated it.

A big ditto to all she said, as I'd neglected to thank the awards staff in
the other thread for the amazing job they've done this year. Kudos to you
all! :-)

Congratulations to everyone, and thanks so very much! :-)

Kudos to the winners, and thanks for all the feedback. Some of it may have
saved the novel I'm working on. (Yes, J, you can write, and apparently
without causing readers to lose their lunches!)

We've never posted the full placements, instead the full list of all those
that are voted on is posted as the Newsgroup Would Like to Recommend Posts.

It is my belief that posting more than the poduim finishers gets away from
the feedback purpose of the Awards. In fact, for the first 2 years of the
Awards, we just posted the list of all that got voted, and then a list of
those that won first place.

Stephen,

The "Newsgroup Would Like to Recommend " posts have never shown up on my
newsreader, although I have seen replies to them, so I know you've posted them
. . . I'm off now to search google for them, but I thought you'd like to know
that they're missing in action (at least for this aol-user)

Congrats to the winners!

...and especially to sweepster monkee, whose "Just Plain Mean" made me
laugh so hard last year I almost passed out.

(sorry I didn't vote. I'm a chicken head with the protocols. Otherwise
you and Analiyah would have gotten some)

That doesn't inspire me much confidence for the future of my series, then.
