Save 2009 ASC Awards campaign

As the official fic year of 2009 does not end until January 31, there
is a slight possibility that a major turnaround in the final month
would result in having the awards after all. But it would have to be a
truly MAJOR change in posting behavior and patterns.

So I'm giving it a go. I've posted to several YahooGroups dealing with Trek
or fanfiction or both. I'm trying to find some of that Trek fanfic that's
"out there" and bring it "in here" to keep the Awards alive and maybe get
some new blood in ASC. Of course, I'm asking them to come and post but I'm
asking them to stick around and be readers and commenters, of course.

And my only eligible story is still a WIP so I'm not doing this to try and
win an award. Alien Us isn't eligible for awards, just votes. I'm doing
this so that maybe there will be an Awards this year and every year as long
as ASC is around.

So please, join me. Find the Trek out there and invite it here! And let
the admins know that you'll be involved in these awards if they should
succeed in running!
