Possessing neither start nor end,
Appearing when I choose
The Captain's wicked little friend
In the human form I use
How could I make him understand
The way of greater things
Of infinite dimensions grand
Open mind will give him wings
How funny all these beings are,
That limit by design
Until he turns from world to star,
He is not fully mine
I whisper softly in his ear
The riddles of my art
Someday it will be time to hear
Perhaps, by playing with his heart
I exist on quite another level
Than all this human fluff
But only when limits fully dishevel
Can the brilliance be enough
Until enlightenment is nigh
My mischief keeps me amused
Pisses off Beverly, but Jean-Luc's no longer shy --
And it makes the fans enthused!!

Thanks, I'm glad you posted it. Now I will do a final look-over on
my thing and post it. And then go find a very large potted plant
that hasn't be poisoned. Eeek!

One of these days I intend to write a story where Q tells Data that
he will leave the Enterprise if Data can trick him into saying his
name backwards.
And eventually Data actually does, which impresses and amuses Q so
much that he actually does it.
