here it is at last. YOUR CHOICE for the TSU Motto!

In first place, the winner:

Ex Astris, Amor.

Second place: Better Living Through TrekSmut
Third place: Ars Gratia Cupidite (or Ars Gratiae Cupiditatis)
Honorable Mention: There Are Always ... Possibilities;
Scribere est Amare; Make Love, Not Latinum (Amorem
non Latinum Fac.
DIShonorable mention (yo Jen!): Paramount bites musky butt funk.

Incidentally, Better Living through TrekSmut was a VERY close
second to Ex Astris, Amor. I guess this shows that we're a
conservative bunch at heart and stick close to our roots.

Thanks to everyone for participating. If we had turnout like this in
our national elections, I bet we'd have better people in office.

What does this mean, though? I know Astris is something to do with stars,
and Amor means love in Spanish, so I'll guess it means the same in Latin.
I had a hard time voting since most of the Latin wasn't translated.

Ex Astris, Amor means, "From the Stars, Love" and it may not be perfect
Latin. It's based on Starfleet Academy's motto "Ex Astris, Scientia" which
means "From the Stars, Knowledge."
