Shannara, here. I created this group about a year ago and since that
time, my interests have grown away from Star Trek (after 32 years) and
into the X-Files. I have become involved in that online fandom and
don't have the time or the heart to devote to ASCA anymore. George
Morgan remains as a moderator and our other moderator besides me,
Jenny Funnell, can no longer access the group. What we need is a
couple of energetic moderators to check the mailbox regularly, weed
out the spam and adult content and post the rest here.
The whole purpose of this group is to provide an alternative for those
fans who don't enjoy R and NC-17 stories or slash stories (I must
emphasize that we moderators have nothing against those types of
stories, but there are already two groups that take that sort of
material), and to serve as a group where parents can be assured their
child will not be exposed to anything more than PG-13.
George has taken over the duties of archiving and is doing a fine job
of it. Two moderators could take turns posting while George maintains
the archive, a time-consuming job. If anyone is interested, please
write me (shan...@yahoo.com) or George at gund...@evansville.net

It is bascially my fault that posting has been so infrequent of late
on ASCA.

Good luck with your new project!
