Heskeys being linked in a £6Million move to the Lane. Hes big and powerful,
but is he injury prone? Interesting to see that Lampard is stalling on a new
contract at WHU.
On another note - the stench coming from Highbury is somewhat less potent
today as Anelka says hes note coming back. Nice.

Definately like to see Hesky down at the Lane. As long as we have got plenty
of quality cover, we can put up with him being injured (not all the time!)

I SOOO wish this deal will go through, more than any other at the moment.

I think on the evidence of last season, the department in which we are most
lacking is the attacking one, more than the midfield or defence. I agree we
should find a partner for Sol (I think Chris Perry would be ideal), and more
players in other positions. But the attack is main area we need a player
for.

And Heskey I think is our best option at the moment. Better than the other
supposed top target Sutton (£10million?? ridiculous!!) He is young,
talented, strong, pacey (remember he turned our poor man Ramon Vega inside
out last season??) and one for the future.

I know Leicester would be very reluctant to let him go, but if I had it my
way, he'd be at the Lane in a flash.

If his injury proneness is anything like our usual signings-He'll walk into
White Hart Lane, trip over the front step and be out of action for six
months!

Totally agree, he's a big useless donkey. And very over-rated. I will be
most gutted if we bought him. I'd still bid for Solskaer (sorry for
spelling mistake!).

Dawn.
