So much for the adage that cheats never prosper. ManYoo may have romped to a
4-0 win at Spurs but the match tilted on Cristiano Ronaldo successfully
winning a penalty just before half-time with a trademark dive.

**
Trademark dive, spot on.

You should thank us for giving you an ever bigger laugh at you lovely
London neighbours... : - )

Coming from the supporter of a team for whom Pires dived against
Portsmouth...which meant you kept an unbeaten run all season...I don't
see any moral victory in your point.

Spuds were poor...we were great....oh and Arsenal dropped points against
less fancied teams..AGAIN!

Whether it was a dive or not, it made up for the penalty that wasn't given.
In any case the intent was there to put him off his run. Is Ronaldo the only
player who allegedly dives then?

No, just the one who does it most.

Your in a final so it's obviously it's bollocks.
The one about things balancing out fits better, last week we had 2 good
goals wiped off
and predictable not a murmur about it.

It is sadly becoming a fact that the better players will also be the best
cheats, as in rugby.

They play to the ref's capabilities and considor it "gamesmanship". Every
team does it or rather tries to get away with it..

Henry is one of the worst in the world at it (or should I say best?)
He remains the only player to ever be booked for a dive in an FA Cup
final. If you want to see him at his typical worst, then watch
yesterdays match. He took a huge dive in that one. The absolute worst
cheating at teh World Cup was his fake face injury dive. I'd have
banned him for a year just for that, it was an absolute disgrace.

>Ronaldo took more dives in the last World Cup than Johnny Weismuller

He wasn't even close, Henry is the all time king of dives.

Drogba is shameful in that department, worse in fact than Alan Shearer !

The great twat known as "Mystic" Glen Hoddle once said he would pick Shearer
because of the amount of times he went down in the box, Hoddle then went on
to state that with Shearer in the team England would get more chance of
penalties being awarded.

I think now, that is a bit harsh on Drogba

Is that what Henry was booked for in that cup final?

The difference between them is that Ronaldo has stopped diving.
