different matter.
Anyway, The Smiths' are hogging the news today. Jim Smith, Derby, has been
rammed ( as Davie pointed out yesterday ) and Denis Smith ( formerly with
Oxford ) is the new manager of Wrexham. A third Smith?, I can't think of one
offhand. I'm sure there's one out there though?.

Hi Les.. I was sorry to hear about the Bald Eagle........but not

Alright Gaz, following on from my 'happens in three's' old wife concoctions
: what I find interesting\confusing is, three names have been touted for the
Scotland position. Sir Alex, George Burley and Walter. Alex and GB have
distanced themselves from the gossip by saying 'not interested'. The word
from Goodison\Everton FC\Walter Smith?.....erm, nowt.
Friggin' typical, surely keeping shtum will only fan the flames?.

I've got to correct myself Gaz, I'm reading today that APPARENTLY, >Walter
Smith has met with Bill Kenwright and has apparently re-iterated his
commitment to stay at Goodison in the wake of recent speculation. < THAT'S
from teamtalk. But, I've been told that teamtalk use a lot of guesswork?.
So, until there's an official statement it's still very much : as you
were.....erm, I think?.
