Who said this was going to be easy?
Anyone that knew anything about Chelsea FC should surely have
expected them to make life hard for themselves in this cup tie... all
the talk of "Cup Final's" and "Liverpool at Wembley" was way too
premature. With no killer instinct up front and a defence that always
has at least one error in it every match, this tie had 'banana skin'
written all over it.
Possession and shots mean diddly-squat if you don't score a goal, and
that's what Chelsea didn't do tonight. Like the Big Bad Wolf they
huffed and puffed but they just could not blow down the little
piggies house... <shrugs>
The good thing is... it is only half-time!
