I wasn't expecting THAT performance!

Chelsea tear in to Aston Villa right from the start and win this cup
replay at a canter... 3-1 looks like a close score but in reality
this game was over as a proper contest by half time and it was Aston
Villa that were looking disjointed and out of sorts today.

This was a good performance all round from Chelsea and nobody had a
bad game. They were all up for it and looked a different team to the
one we saw at the weekend against Wolves. In fact, I would say this
was one of their best performances under Mauricio Pochettino.

Of course, Aston Villa got a late consolation goal to spoil a
potential Chelsea clean sheet, but that's par for the course these
days... we won't let it dampen our spirits.

A good win and in to the next round of the FA Cup and a home tie
against Leeds United.
