Wolves 2 Chelsea 1

Wolves show very little Christmas spirit against a lacklustre Chelsea
who once again flattered to deceive by creating plenty of chances and
then wasting them. Having the possession and creating chances means
nothing if you don't score from that possession.

We've waited half a year for Nkunku to recover from injury and
Pochettino still starts with the inept Jackson up front. Needless to
say, normal Jackson service continued and he didn't get presented
with a tap-in today so left the pitch with just his obligatory
booking.

So for me that's another game that Chelsea have thrown away and the
lack of goals in matches like this is causing serious problems for
Chelsea as they sit tenth in the Premier League, with a gap opening
up to ninth now. Nkunku's late consolation goal means we might have
something to look forward to in 2024 though.
