Chelsea avoid a potential banana skin and ease in to the 5th Round of the
FL Cup...
Pochettino fielded a full-strength XI in this cup tie as he couldn't take
any risks, Chelsea needed to get a victory under their belt to help
improve their confidence before the trip to North London on Monday. So
ultimately they were too strong for Blackburn and goals from Badiashile
and Sterling were enough to settle the nerves and get the job done.
Nice to see Reece James return to the starting line-up, let's hope he can
stay free from injury now he's back, as he will be needed in the tough
run of fixtures ahead.
