Well, that was a big difference from Tuesday evening.
Against a decent Premier League defence Chelsea's attacking threat
was a lot less effective than against Middlesboro. Both goal-keepers
made some good saves but neither team deserved to win this tie and it
was a dull enough game to watch.
Chelsea won't be looking forward to the replay at Villa Park but they
didn't do enough up front to create a good enough chance to take that
would have made the difference.
