Chelsea 4 Manchester City 4
A Sunday afternoon thriller...
Wasn't sure what to expect today but hoped the win on Monday would spur
them on against the Champions. As it turned out it was an open end-to-end
goal fest that could have gone either way or finished up 6-6!
This game was a small bit like Monday night's games, apart from there
wasn't two red cards. We had two quick attacking teams going toe-to-toe,
two defences that were being stretched, plenty of wasted chances, VAR
checks, penalties, etc. In the end Palmer's equaliser was almost like
getting the winner as at 4-3 down late on it seemed to be a case of here
we go again...
Last weekend if somebody had said Chelsea would get four points from the
Tottenham & Man City games, we'd have taken it. So a good week of football
for Chelsea. Two games played, eight goals scored, four points.
